General Archery Class

Archers on the line at Look Park Sattva Archery

Sattva General Class runs year-round. GC consists of 90-minutes multi-generational, multi-level group classes. Coaches and Instructors will help you develop a solid foundation to grow your love for archery in a welcoming and professional atmosphere. We teach modern barebow, Olympic style recurve target archery, and target compound. Open to all archers ages 8 – adult.

Choose the day and time that works for you and meet once or twice a week.

Try Archery Today (TAT) are designed for beginner archers. All First-Time Archers must attend three or more TAT and then can register to General class.

All equipment provided. All First-Time Archers begin by learning modern barebow. Archers can choose to continue with barebow or move to Olympic (with a sight) or Compound after their first 5 GC - with the approval of their coach.

If you are interested in purchasing your own equipment, we are Western Massachusetts’ only pro shop dedicated to target archery.

Equipment

Bow, arrows and quiver provided.

If you own your own equipment, please bring it with you. Your coach will inspect your equipment prior to your first class to make sure it is safe and will meet your needs as an archer in our class.

If you are interested in acquiring your own equipment, we are a full retailer.

Indoor Season

November - March

All classes are held indoors at Sattva Center for Archery Training. Class sizes are 4-12 archers.  

Outdoor Season

April - October

All classes are held at the Outdoor Range @ Look Memorial Park. Class sizes are 4-12 archers.

Look Park Entry Fee

Look Memorial Park in Florence has a vehicle entry fee. We recommend you purchase a season pass as opposed to paying your entry fee each time. It is more cost effective and gives you the opportunity to visit as often as you like. Go to the Look Park Website to purchase your pass.

Liability Waiver

Participants in all Sattva classes are required to complete a liability waiver before using our equipment or range.

 

TAT and GC are all active.

We will provide 5 times, 10 times, 20 times, 30 times and 40 times punch cards to purchase for the new General Archery class.

Punch card also work with Try-Archery-Today program (TAT), this program is designed for all the first-time archers.
