Level I USA Archery Instructor Certification: Practical

- Choose Sattva for the practical portion of your Level I Course. The Level I Archery Instructor Certification Course provides graduates the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range. The Level I Instructor will learn about range safety, range setup, the steps of shooting, equipment and repair, programs and lesson plans and is well prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities. This course follows a blended model that includes 3 hours of online training through USA Archery followed by 7 hours of hands-on training with Sattva Coaches. Candidates must pass the online portion of the course prior to taking the practical.

Level II USA Archery Instructor Certification: Practical

- Choose Sattva for the practical portion of your Level II Course. The Level II Archery Instructor Certification Course includes the Level I Archery Instructor Certification Course and provides students with an introduction to the National Training System (NTS) Steps of Shooting for recurve and compound, equipment and accessory setup, and athlete development. This course follows a blended model that includes 4 hours of online training through USA Archery followed by 8 hours of hands-on training with Sattva Coaches. Candidates must pass the online portion of the course prior to taking the practical.

- Includes Level II educational packet
- Qualified to be the lead instructor for the Explore Archery Program, JOAD, AAAP, and/or Collegiate Archery Program Club
- Eligible to receive USA Archery insurance coverage (must have USA Archery membership)
- Qualified to teach the Level I Instructor Certification Course
- Eligible to apply for the Level II Instructor Trainer Certification

Level III USA Archery Coach Certification Course
$375
- The USAA Level III-NTS Coach Certification Course includes 1) an online portion (6-8 hrs.) and 2) an in-person practical (16 hrs.). The online portion is purchased through USA Archery, not Sattva. Sattva hosts the 16-hour in-person practical. The Level III curriculum allows candidates to explore coaching pedagogy, movement analysis, motor learning concepts, cognitive and social learning theory, mental skills, advanced instruction on the National Training System (NTS) for recurve and compound, training plans, and more. If you think you will continue through your Level IV Coach certification at any point in the future, attending the Level III-NTS course at Sattva will provide you with the best foundation possible moving forward.
